Milo & Olive, located at 2723 Wilshire Blvd in Santa Monica, will be presenting a “cozy dining” atmosphere, with only 26 seats and 2 communal tables, and will not be taking reservations. It will be the perfect spot to sit-in and watch the kitchen as chefs roast vegetables, braise meats, and simmer sauces, and an ideal place for pick ups and takeaways of all the items offered in the menu.
Because it’s both a bakery and a pizzeria, it’s virtually open all-day; with the bakery beginning at 7am, and will be serving café style breakfast items such as Free Range Frittatas with Weiser Farms Potatoes & Gioia Ricotta, Homemade Bagels with various Farmers Market Toppings, and a new and expanded variety of Zoe’s Morning Pastries and Whole Loaf Breads until 11am daily.
After 11am, the restaurant will be transforming into a pizzeria; Chef Evan Funke will be firing up the oven and serve up an extensive range of wood-fired pizzas, farmers’ market-inspired salads, and a variety of appetizers on a daily basis, until 11pm. Menu items that you should be on your to-eat list are the Wood Oven Roasted McGrath Family Farm Pumpkin with Brown Butter & Wildflower Honey, Local Fried Squid with Crispy Lemons & Calabrian Chilis, Pizza with House Made Sausage and Braised Bitter Greens and much more.
